How Lume AI ranks “best X under Y” picks

Transparent scoring signals, update cadence, and affiliate disclosure.

What “Lume Score” means

Lume Score is a 0–100 ranking that helps order products for the specific query (for example: “bedding under $50”). It is not a guarantee of quality; it’s a structured way to compare trade-offs.

Signals we use

  • Price / value fit: how well the product matches the budget and typical features at that price.
  • Review confidence: star rating + review count (higher volume usually reduces surprises).
  • Feature fit: does it match what the query implies (materials, size, use-case, etc.).
  • Downside patterns: repeated complaints that materially affect buyers.
  • Availability: if listings disappear or become inconsistent, picks may change.

How often pages update

Guides refresh periodically. Prices and availability can change quickly on Amazon, so always confirm on the retailer page.

Affiliate disclosure
